2007 Jayco Melbourne electrical issue question

I'm new to the group, so I hope this is where I'm supposed to post this sort of thing. I have a Jayco Melbourne 29D that I have had for 5 years. It's never given me any trouble and I really like it. 2 days ago, the cab lights started coming on by themselves every couple of hours. I would click the key fob to lock the doors (which were already locked and closed completely) and the lights would go off. But then they'd come back on again. This has happened for 2 days now and it has drained the battery. Just curious if anyone else has had a similar issue and could guild me as to what the problem might be. I noticed last week when I was driving it, those lights flickered a few times. So I was thinking it might be the key fob(s) - I have 2. But any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
PeggyG

Looking up a "2007 Jayco Melbourne" I see that they are on Ford E450 chassis. The cab lights are part of the chassis wiring system and often controlled by the ECU and door switches to turn them on when the door is opened or key fob used to unlock the doors.

You'll have to start with the door switches and go from there. Often the switches connect to ground when the door is opened. It could be a stripped wire connecting to ground as you drive down the road. That doesn't explain fully how the key fob turns them off immediately, but it's a start. Perhaps a Ford service center could find the problem quickly or knows of the issue.
