If it's a Shurflo pump, the fuse is *inline* and within 6" of the motor. I've always seen them in the red lead.
Those pumps are pretty much bullet proof...or at least used to be...so I'd look for a bad connection or something first. If necessary, I would jumper it to a battery source to test as the wires are usually right there in plain sight and easy to get to in most RVs. Running dry for short periods won't hurt it.
