2nd propane regulator on far side propane tank blocking tank fuel passing thru tank s

Have Montana 5er with propane tanks on either side. Tank on far side, altho full cannot successfully get propane through the combination tank switch / regulator. Found the far tank with a second regulator. Suspect the 2 regulators working in series is why. Thoughts?

Split location propane cylinders.......roadside cylinder MUST have the 'red top' regulator to drop cylinder pressure to 30# PRIOR to crossing over to otherside where MAIN 2 stage regulator is located.

Full clyinder presssure in cross over line can lead to 'vapor condensing into liquid' which will cause issues with Main Propenae Reg and downstream gas vlaves

Replace the single stage 30# reg....it has failed.

Glad to see Old-Biscuit back on line. Hope you are doing well now days.

I had the same thing happen a couple of years ago. The 30 PSI regulator on the far side failed, it was also leaking. Replaced it and all has been good since. On my Excel the cross over propane line is black iron pipe.
