37 foot Winnebago Elandan gut and remodel

Help Needed. Can not locate a part for a 1989 Magic Chef 24 inch propane gas cook top. Magic Chef Modle # BT85 NA 4, part Number # PS 2074047, is a small nylon bushing that goes on the fule/burner tube between the control and the fule tube, any ideas or how to improvise something. The cook top is in a 1989 Winnebago Elandan 37 RQ modle, thanks

You could make your own if you are handy enough. I made spacers from nylon bar stock to make a custom grill look like its floating in the opening.

nks for feed back. After studying exactly what it does, I decided to do just that. Hopefully can actuallly find a nylon spacer or sleeve at hardware store tommorow., might have to use brass or cooper if nylon not available. Finding out I may have to improvise a lot due to the age of the unit. Again, thanks, kinda reassured me I could make my own. While we are talking, I am actually taking the magic chef unit out of the rv, replacing with an electric induction cook top, would like to use the removed gas cook top as an emergancy cook top for use after our hurricances we get a lot of. Want to use as an outside cook top and run off of small 20 pound propane tank. The magic chef requires ,/according to the sticler on it, 10 inch WC for each burner, would a out door grill gas regulator provide enough gas volume to run it? When i tried to ask the hardware sales staff, they asked me what a water column was?

You could probably get a replacement regulator for an rv and use that. They are stand alone and maybe a better quality.
