A thought...

I was giving thought to replacing the current output line with a flexible type hose. The way my system is piped the line comes out approx. 8-9in and turns to the rear. At this point it has another 90 degree turn towards the tank that has a twist fitting at the end for the water pump suction side. It also continues straight (prior to the turn towards tank) with an added brass T valve prior to the water output from the line coming down from the output side of the pump. Beyond this point I have another brass T valve that is used to open (along with second T valve) the system to drain the tank completely. The initial brass T valve allows me to fill the tank when connected to city water.

Reason...in the event I needed to change the water tank I'd have to drain the tank. Having a flexible line between the tank and pump would allow me to use a fuel line clamp to swap out the water pump quickly if the pump failed.

I'll post a pic up of my current set up. Anyone doing this already?

I replaced some of the line already with sharkbite lines/fittings with a flexible line from the water pump output side to the line running into the coach. Doing this allowed the pump to run quieter and lessen the vibration of the pump and lines.
