AC Compressor not starting...

Hello Peoples. Gotta problem I could use some help with. I have a Montana 3931FB with 2 AC's. Just installed RVAirflow's in both along with MicroAir EasyStart 364's. One AC went flawlessly the other didn't. Thought I had them both "learned" but my rear ac never started cooling. AC guy checked all the power, fuses, etc. we even cut the power to the entire camper to reset everything. The compressor still won't run. Tried calling MicroAir, but them being on the east coast and me being pst... Anyone have any clues?

Feel of the compressor - is it hot? If so, it kicked out on internal thermal overload. Give it a few hours to cool down and it will reset. You can speed the cooling up by allowing water to drizzle over it.

And if it did kick thermal, you need to determine why - short cycling the thermostat will do it, as will a bad PTC hard/soft start device and/or run capacitor. Possible overheated/burned wiring in the electrical panel as well.

If it was working correctly before installing the "easy start" and not now, I think that you have narrowed down the issue.

MrMark, Ern,

Thanks. After further investigation, lots of internet research, phone conversations with tech's, emails and wiring verification we found the problem. The wrong power wire was wired to the easy start. Problem fixed. Thanks again!
