AC Cotton

Has anyone found a good way to keep the cottonwood cotton out of our rooftop air conditioner units?

Don't go where there are cottonwood trees.......

Sorry but there is no cure.
Cottonwood seeds are fully grown late April/early May and shedding is done by end of June

I agree with Old Biscuit. Last year for over a month I had to use a leaf blower a couple times a day on them. I first tried water but that made a mess. The leaf blower did a good job.

When we had to stay with cotton wood trees, I picked up some nylon screening at the hardware store, cut in appropriate with strips and wrapped the A/C unit to cover the condenser coil. Periodically, go on the roof, take off the screen and clean them.
