AC goes Click, click

Hello all, I have a 1996 Winnebago Brave with a Mach 5 14.8 ? I think that's what it said. Before I bought it it worked fine, however there was a time when it went click, I waited 15 seconds, turned it off. Tryed again and it cranked right up. Been about a month, now it just goes click click. I don't want to keep trying if it will harm it. Any thought?
Also, forum participation is new to me, so if I'm not asking in the right place, please direct. Also is there a place that has all the letter lingo?

OK, we will need a lot more information to be of any help; unless it is a fuse or circuit breaker that is blown or tripped. What size power cord is on the coach and what are you plugged into? Have you verified that the source is good? it the air conditioner controlled through an energy management panel? How log are you giving the unit to come on before giving up and turning it off. Is this the only air conditioner in the coach? Are you able to read and follow schematics and use a VOM?
