Don’t throw good money into that piece of junk.
My 2 year old Coleman Mach roof top unit would not cool but did run on fan and the heat strip element worked. Upon removing the cover to inspect I found it had 3 start capacitors for the compressor
. 3 start capacitors from the Coleman factory or Provan the coach builder ! Further inspection I found a freon tubing joint loose due to poor factory soldering. No freon. No wonder the compressor wasn’t starting.
Out of warranty and rather than trying to get it repaired, which I’ve read is not possible without freon service ports. I looked into a new replacement an found this review of 10 different units...

Noticed that the Coleman review noted owners reported of failures after 1 to 2 years were common.
Long story so I would rather not explain but believe it or not, my unit was never used. I never needed cooling it and it’s never worked. I decided to remove the unit and replace it with a Fantastic fan. Very simple install. If a future owner needs A/C it’s simple enough to replace because wiring is there already.
