Amana convection/Microwave

We just picked up a super C with a convection/Microwave. When I try to use it, it will only run for 1 minute even following the directions.

Can some one enlighten me on why?

I have had convection/Microwave before and never have I had these issues.

Are you running the convection on shore power, generator or off the inverter?

Can you enlighten me?

You need to provide us with a little more info...

Can you enter 5, 6 or 8 min.?
Does it count down from 'x' min. and then just stop one min. down?
Does it give an error after one min.?
Have you tried one of the "Auto" settings, like defrost?
Have you set the time FIRST?

Why do I have to ask these questions?????

What is the model number (find it right-hand edge of the interior wall visible once you open the door)? The download the manual from this linkhttps://www.amana.com/owners/user-manuals.html. Then the forum can easily assist.

Do your kiddos race motocross?

Besides that like others said need more info. I do have a cool trick though. If you ever hit places like 99c store check out the little silicone hot plate matts they have. You can stack them up so the item you are cooking is elevated. Helps the convection mode crisp up the bottom section of whatever you are cooking. I usually cook in pirex storage containers when using convection mode in my trailer. You can do the micro/convection combo without worry. Silicone matts are perfect because they are safe for both as well. I sometimes will leave the pirex container in there as a cooking vessle. Wash it at the end of the day if the items being cooked are only leaving behind crumbs.

First, thanks for all of the reply.
As for count down, I have tried all kinds of times and it stops one minute into the count down.

Does it count down from 'x' min. and then just stop one min. down? YES

Does it give an error after one min.? NO

Have you tried one of the "Auto" settings, like defrost? not yet

Have you set the time FIRST?_

I WILL LOOK FOR THE SILICON HOT PLATE MATTS.

AS for the model its a AC01180AB
