Any Forest River trailers with Atwood furnace problems

Has anyone with a new 2015 trailer with the Atwood furnace had any problems with the electronic control getting wet & shorting out. My 2015 Avenger 28RKS has the access cover that has louvers turned in, instead of turned out. Dealer says that's the way they are. This is a design flaw. Louvers are suppose to point downward to prevent water from getting in, not facing upward. Here is a photo.
