Anyone installed a Aquajet ES Variable speed water pump

I am considering creating a spare waterpump via replacing the exisiting Shurflo Classic 2.5 gpm, 7.0 amp pump with a AquaJet ES 3.5 gpm., 6.7 amp, digital variable speed control, 5 chamber pump. I'll save the Shurflow as the spare.

The object is to provide a little increase in pressure and flow without using excessive water while dry camping; quieter operation without having to modify the electrical setup.

Does anyone have experience with the Aquajet ES pump's performance and dependability?

Steve,

I had the larger version 5.2 gallon I think in my previous coach and really liked it.

I currently have the shureflow extreme 5.7. It is my second one and is noisier than the AquaJet ES. I would take the AquaJet in a heart beat over the extreme series pump.

On top of that, my warranty replacement Shurflow 5.7 is not variable anymore. I called thinking there was something wrong with my new Shurflow 5.7 but was told that they changed the design due to problems with the earlier models. It is really noisy now

Again having had both pumps I think the AquaJet is the better pump

I have the larger version also and it replaced the 5.7 gallon Shureflow. The Aquajet is my far a better pump. I have had mine for about 4 years.

I have used one for the last year and am happy with it. It is noisier than I thought it would be, but other than that I like it. I also installed the pulsation dampener hoses.
