Aqua Hot: 110 or diesel to keep bays above freezing

A bit of a newbie when it comes to winter & Aqua Hot! We came back from SWFL about a week too early & the lows are going to be around 20 here in Indy.

I don’t want to winterize the Monaco Dynasty again & wondered if the Aqua Hot on 110 will keep the bays above freezing - or - do we need to run the Aqua Hot on diesel? I figured I’d set the furnace thermostats to about 50.

Thanks for sharing your insights!

Diesel to be safe, depending on the expected lows where you are.

I missed the temperature in your initial post (sorry). I'd use diesel since the predicted highs won't be much above freezing and the predicted lows are in the low 20's.

My guideline is if below 30 the diesel burner is turned on.

Any harm having both Diesel & Electric on? Is it smart enough to use electric 1st then pull in Diesel if it needs the "extra oomph"?
