Trace not sure which Aqua Hot you have on your bus, on the top right of the page were you sign in you will see a search button, using this search you will find a lot of information that you are looking for. I did a quick search and this is one link that I found.
Look in the Aquahot Compartment and check the control panel. There may be a low voltage light lit. On same panel is a spot marked low voltage reset. Takes a paper clip to reset.
This is the only reset I am aware of.

Curious when this was last serviced. Could be fuel filter or burner nozzle is clogged or even low water level. They say these should be serviced annually but that may depend on usage in my opinion. If they sit for long periods of time that is not as good as using them, kind of like everything. Let us know how things work out.

Had this exact same problem did alot of research and finally gave up and had it serviced. Changed filter and Nozzle and still did not operate. On the passenger side there are 4 limit switches inside the cover panel for the aquahot. I believe it is the third from rear that must be reset manually the others reset on their own. This caught my tech by surprise and he is certified. What we believe caused the overtemp to occur was the exhaust pipe had been crushed and allowed it to over heat. You may have to clean the optical sensor.
Thanks every one who assisted, crawled in on passenger side and found that the cover had come loose and the installed switch was not being pushed in anymore, thank goodness. Thanks again.
