AquaHot "Case"

I have had 3 thermostats in my AquaHot 250d go bad and had them replaced over the past 3 years. The most recent one last month. I contacted AquaHot and a service guy opened a case for me and stated that the thermostat should not be failing every year. I sent him all the documentation from purchasing the thermostat, the labor costs, and the receipts from the annual maintenance to show that I was maintaining it properly and by AH certified technicians. I asked about 2 weeks ago for an update, then another, then another, and another one today. Today I got an email that says there is no email address by Airxcel in that name. I contacted the service department with an email with all the email traffic and the attachments. Now I wonder if a case was ever really opened and I may be starting the process from scratch.

Your talking about thermal switches on the boiler right.? Sounds like thermal switch is carrying more electrical load than normal for some reason. A member posted pic of OEM thermal switch that runs $50-70 . I found same brand and all numbers for like $13 shipped.
My old unit 1995 has adjustable boxes on the boiler.

It is the control thermostat.

That part seems to be proprietary. Similar ones use ground. Still makes me wonder if too much power running through it for some reason. Are you comfortable using an clamp dc amp meter to test it. Or most multimeters will do 10 amps in series. It just seems like three bad thermostats in a row going bad has to something. Maybe get in contact with AH to inquire about a run of a bad part.

My original post says that I contacted AH and opened a case. My concern is the guy who I was dealing with has potentially left AH since his emails come back undeliverable. I emailed AH Service Dept with all the documentation but have yet to hear back from them.
