AquaHot not hot
My 450D has been on a steady decline. First, the diesel burner was sporadic when called on to heat, then it quit altogether. The electric continued but now has fallen upon the same condition. It will heat while we're in-route to our next destination and then will quit again overnight. We're in the middle of a 6 month road trip and really need it to work. I replaced the filter and nozzle all to no avail. Ideas?
Thanks for any help you may provide me.

Your circulation pumps maybe stuck.
Try tapping on them to free them up.

If you have the engine heat loop that is why it's hot when you arrive. Your coach antifreeze is heating the aquahot. Check the fluid level first. The float switch in the tank can be bypassed at the board with a jumper to see if it's bad. The AC heating element gets checked with an ohm meter. The AC relay is checked for voltage on the element side, rt at the element if you prefer. There are a few low temp and high limit breakers screwed into the tank as well. Not a real high tech system so download the manual for yours and start checking it out.

I would test the control board with a meter. Have you called AquaHot, they have a test procedure they can help you with.

He said the diesel quit and then the electric quit. Doesn’t sound like bad pumps. More like control board as mentioned.
Call Aquahot. There service techs are good.

AquaHot has excellent manuals on their web site. Great troubleshooting methods.
The service manual is too big to post here. PM me if you can't find it on their web site. Aqua-Hot Electronic Controller.pdf

Yes I realized today Shootist is correct, it is the engine heating the water. So, that makes it a little easier to diagnose the problem if neither the electric nor the diesel burner is working. It's a sensor or a circulation pump at fault. Thanks to all for the feedback.
