In need of help with my furnace. Atwood 8940 III DCLP. Tries to start then locks out. I have cleaned and replaced igniter, burner and sail switch and get same results. At one point after about an hour on lockout it started up on its own and ran perfect but now back to the same thing.

Can you be more specific than “tries to start”? Does the blower run? Does the burner ignite or try to? Have you checked the code on the light on the control board?
