YES the Atwood HE fridges us DC for controls and to energize the Gas Valve Solenoid

Only thing different about the Atwoods was the use of HELIUM and an Incorporated TILT Monitor

Here's a photo of the cooling unit S/N that I posted years back when someone ; maybe even you; confirmed it'd been replaced.
I bought the coach in 2010.

Just curious ...the picture of the burner area ---looks like the gas valve is same/similar to OPs fridge???

If not mentioned spiders and webs in burner mix tube . I've cleaned mine every spring no mater what. I've safe tiny tube brushes one or more/folded pipe cleaners and compressed air after.

NDR 1062 , is my fridge model #; can't be sure if the burner & gas valve were changed with the cooling unit .

The iRV2 site/ size of attachment posting limit , kind of rules out videos & audio files , and even plays havoc with photos with too large a format .

Then you're probably looking at an internal blockage in the valve.

Perhaps Old-Biscuit will post info , on testing valve operation or cleaning if possible.

Solenoid clicks when energized......

Did you check resistance???



Crack the inlet fitting to check that you have gas up to the valve....
Just crack/propane is only 0.39 psi (11"WC) so it is NOT going to spew out/cause huge gas bomb

*Verified that you have gas up to the valve...then valve out propane system and disconnect/remove gas valve

Connect 12VDC to solenoid and when solenoid clicks see if you can blow thru the valve
Look thru....bright light on other end but it is not straight thru the valve
*direct DC + on Blue wire with Ground on Brown wire (although polarity doesn't matter)

Board is shot. Had a guy who used to work at an RV dealer come out and look at it. Guess new fridge since they stopped making this model in 2014. It wasn’t cooling that well anyway

Board shot...then you weren't getting 12VDC to gas solenoid or spark electrode firing

What test(s) did the rv Guy do to determine the board was shot??

Not getting voltage to the selonoid. It was sparking. Took the value off and hooked up battery and the selonoid opened the value, was able to blow through it. Put back on and when he came out, tested the leads and nothing I think the clicking I was hearing was just the igniter. There is a spot on the board where it looked like a burn mark.

If hookuping up DC directly to Gas Valve Solenoid opened it then don't need another valve

Need a circuit board.
