Atwood G6A-7 Pilot but no main burner on water heater

I have recently replaced my water tank on my water heater, when I put it all back together, I can get the pilot to light, but as soon as I turn the control to ON, the pilot goes out and the heater does not ignite. There seems to be no gas coming out of the gas valve. Could I have done something wrong reinstalling? I have bled the line using the stove and still non luck. Thinking maybe coincidence and the gas valve went, hope to find some suggestions.

If you are getting a pilot you are getting propane. Most likely when you took everything apart or before trash got in the gas tube. Clean out all burner parts and try again. Just a small amount of trash will cause the propane to stall. One more thing is do you have the thermostat hooked to the tank properly? Wiring is very important

I have cleaned everything, there is no gas coming through the orifice and into the tube when I turn it to ON. I am going to order a gas valve, but wanted to make sure it could not maybe be the thermocoupler.
