Atwood Model G6A-8E No 12v to t,stat

Hello everyone
This is a 1997 Fleetwood Bounder F53. Water heater is propane only.
Last fall water heater was working fine. Shut down the heater and propane detector for 6 hours then tried to turn back on and nothing. Next morning I was able to try it again and noticed no 12vdc on brown wire pre thermal cut off. Everything is okay on gas (stove, fridge) so I looked for water heater fuse with no luck. I pulled the switch out of the stove hood and there is 12vdc there but when I turn switch on it goes to 0vdc. This maybe normal? Removed leads from switch and it is closed in off position and open in on position. I was going to swap the hood light switch with this one but it acts the same. Now the light switch doesn't turn the light on, it used to but I think bulb is bad. Now I know there is a lot of conversations about RV heaters all over the web but I haven't been able to see one with this problem.
Thanks for your time

12VDC+ TO switch when OFF
Should be 12VDC+ FROM switch when ON

You have a bad switch

Disconnect DC wires and Check Continuity thru switch

Update!

I had a buddy come over and we checked everything out. Switch works properly sending 12vdc to thermal cut-off through fixed thermostat and to control board. But no 12vdc out of board (red wire) to ECO stat which feels the gas solenoids. Took jumper from Fixed stat to ECO stat and it fire. Just order new board and will update with PROBLEM SOLVED.
Hope this helps someone!

guess you didn't test switch correctly the first time...12VDC /OVDC

Now you have 12VDC on Brown wire from switch to/thru thermal fuse to/thru T-stat to circuit board but no DC on RED wire from circuit board to ECO

Check the wire connector on circuit board
Red wire circuit could be bad or pin in connector could be not making good contact
New circuit board will not fix bad connector....just check it

Yes I did. Check resistance end for and disconnected. Cleaned contact on board and connector. Still no power. Using jumper now to verify stats work properly and they do. Ran hot water through faucets and it kicked back on. Should be okay with new board.

Bought this one on Ebay mainly because of how fast I could get it. Brand says Exact Replacement Parts on box.
