Atwood WH Problems

I have traced the electrical threw the EOC so far with voltage. Have not checked the gas valve for voltage yet. It was getting dark. The electrode was sparking but no flame. Hope someone has a idea on the issue.

Sounds like the electrode needs cleaning. It's easily removed and cleans up well with a little steel wool.

If the gas is turned on and you have spark, the first thing I would check is the thermal breaker. It's the thing that looks like a resistor in the wiring above the burner. You can simply bypass the breaker to see it if you can get ignition.

If you replace the breaker, make sure that it is bent away from the flue. If it's over the flue, any strong breeze can cause it to blow again.

The troubleshooting link above shows a proper installation.

Voltage path - Brown wire in, through fusible link, t-stat, then into circuit board. OUT of board, through ECO, and into gas valve.
Gas valve should be 40ohms per coil, IIRC. Either 40 or 80ish.

Fire up your stove top, then turn on the WH. Maybe you have low LP pressure.
Could have a clogged orifice on the WH.
