Barbed fitting instead of Beadlock AC hose fitting

I purchased a Mophorn Manual Beadlock crimp tool to repair the standard AC barrier hose connections on our rig.

The Crimp worked fine on the first two crimps, but I cannot get a good crimp on the remaining two crimps.

Does anyone have successful experience using a Barbed connector with standard barrier AC hose in place of the Beadlock fittings?

We tried them at work (airplane a/c) but they will leak. We even tried double hose clamps.

Thank you for responding with your experience.

Did you then revert to the Beadlock fittings to solve the problem?

We might use the hose clamp in a hurry, but would do it correct with the beadlock when we had more time later.
