Basement Air

I have mine out now and setting on a small table. Bad bearing on outdoor blower. New one on order. Not that hard to remove using Duner instructions. I had a lot of rust too especially around the outlet duct. I've already taken care of that.

Check ALL terminals and connections for corrosion. The low voltage at the thermostat is not enough to power through corrosion. Remove the thermostat from the wall, with power off, remove and reconnect each terminal a few times to wipe off corrosion. You may need to do the same at the A/C end of the wires.

I had #2 compressor that didn't work, that one I had to use a small brass brush to clean away severe corrosion, when I replaced the wire #2 worked.

You have basement air. I'm curious and I'm a "greenhorn" in learning mode. I have looked in my manual and I can only find information on 1 of my wall thermostats which is the one I use for AC/Furnace/Heat Pump etc.
I am trying to figure out if the other wall thermostat is to warm the basement since duh I found out my hot water bypass is down there as well as other pipes.

Im not sure what system you have. I would check in the Holiday Rambler section to see if someone can shed some light. You might have in floor heating on that second thermostat.
