Have a 13500 Dometic in the bedroom. This unit runs on COLD and with the FAN on. There is no adjustment to the fan speed nor is there a thermostat that will shut the unit down when desired temperature is reached. I can hear the compressor going on and off but fan never shuts off nor will is "slow down" when fan knob is moved. It is either on or off.

Any suggestions .... this is a brand new unit !

Take it back to the dealer for warranty repairs. It should cycle the compressor at a setting that is comfortable in the room. The fan will run constantly but the compressor won;t.

Hmmm...take it back for sure...but the one thermostat up front (I think) above passenger side where the slide toggles are and all the other stuff...controls all of your A/Cs...you can toggle between the fore and aft units...selecting desired temp, heat, fan, ect...

I have never seen a RV A/C without a thermostat. It is either on the unit or on the wall. A lot of the non-ducted have a t'stat mounted on the unit with a red/blue sweeping look around a dial. More blue and the cold end is the coldest setting. Rotate this to set the temperature.

Generally you do not want to run an A/C on low fan as the unit is more likely to freeze up.
