Good advice has been provided.

In my case though, adding to the tank beforehand is something I've never thought about doing. We camp, empty at the dump station afterwards, and that's it until the next time we take the rig out. On our next trip, we usually add the smell good powder and a bowl or two of water when setting up camp. That's if we're staying for more than a few days. If just a couple of days, then just a bit of water to get things going.
