Can anyone tell me if they are using the new Bounce Dryer Bar in their Splendid Washer/Dryer combo????? I know not to use the sheets but wonder if anyone has used the bar or know if Splendid accepts or rejects the use of it.

i would think it would NOT work - for the washing cycle would "use it up" pretty quickly
have one in the s&b home and it works well

It cannot be used in the combo unit. It is for dryer use only.

Guess I did not explain my thinking well. I thought I might be able to set my machine for wash only and then put the bounce bar in and proceed with the drying.

Guess no one has done this or I would have heard. Thought I would ask because I am unhappy that my cloths are so wrinkled when they come out of the dryer and I have been trying everything I can think of to improve the situation.

Have you tried drying smaller loads? The machine can wash about twice as much as it can dry. Either do smaller loads, or remove some of the clothes at the end of the wash cycle and dry them in 2 batches.

DW also says it helps to set a timer and remove the clothes right away at the end of drying. Hang them immediately or fold them neatly. You can also remove the clothes slightly damp and dry them on hangers. Use plastic hangers so you don't get rust stains on the clothes.

Boy, a wrinkle guard cycle would be nice, or even a buzzer when the dryer turned off!!!

We remove EVERYTHING after the wash cycle, fold them, and put them back in, then do the dry cycle. And for particularly wrinkle sensitive items, we do much smaller loads. Both steps together make a huge difference in wrinkles...

Yes ...it stops small items from become "glued" to the side of the drum, and for things like shirts, it makes a very big difference in them not being as wrinkled at the end of the dry cycle (especially if you do smaller loads with shirts, etc). No, they don't stay folded throughout the dry cycle, and yes you do have to fold/hang/roll them or whatever again when you take them out after they are dry.
