Brand New Full Timer - Power Gear Questions

10 days into our new Full Time RV living life and we are loving it. We have faced one challenge after another but figured it out. We are looking on advice about our Power Gear Leveling system. It seems to only work when they want. Did not work in Pa, Worked in Va,. But will not work in NC. They Retracted when I put my slide out out. Every light on the control panel blinks. Could not find anything on the internet to help. Any tips?

I had the same problem which I put off until the jacks would not come up one day. SOme other things stopped working and I traced the problem to a bad common ground in the ACC circuit. The fact that they went up when you extended the slide makes me suspect that a shared ground or hot wire is loose or a fuse or relay blown. The blinking lights may be the key and the tech can help find out what they mean or reset. Go to the website and go through the bulletins too.

You can call Lippert/ Power Gear and they will probably help you a lot. Have as many numbers as possible starting with the model of your operating panel. When Lippert bought out Power Gear they declared all power gear equipment obsolete and may tell you to replace the system but they will help all they can and parts may be available on eBay, Amazon and many other places if needed.

Here's the trouble shooting manual if they are electric. If not, google the Power Gear site for hydraulic and you'll find it.

These are VERY touchy. Have engine running and don't do anything else when you're putting the jacks in motion. You must follow this manual to the letter. Good luck! https://lci-support-doc.s3.amazonaws...010002127_.pdf
