Can you recommend QUALITY Propane Hose w/Gauge

Maybe it's because we use our RV often, but I seem to go through RV hoses every couple of years. I'm careful, the tanks (and switching regulator) are covered. But I just had to replace one of my hoses again after only 1.5 years.

I like the ones with gauges, but the "gauge" has never been the problem. It's always been the joint where the fitting to the 1/4 NPT regulator is.

So.. as the subject asks.. Does anyone know of a HIGH-QUALITY Propane Hose w/Gauge they feel comfy recommending?

Thanks in advance

I think it gets too cold at that fitting ( i have seen mine in frost many times) , that why it fails.
Try local hydraulic place. They should have two-three ply high pressure hose. They will crimp that hose for you($10 or so) and it will last you looong time.
Look at excavators in area , they have those hoses there for years , and not very many leaks.

How tight of bends are in the hoses, seems like they might be getting too much stress on them. They don't make things like they used to but 2 years seems pretty bad. I searched propane hoses made in USA. There are others on E-tailer made in USA listed in description there's more than I linked one SS braided. Having dealt with stainless braided hoses for sinks ect. not necessarily better in long run.

I think this may be it. It's been in the low 30s/high 20s for a while now (rather strange in itself). The Sun hits that area first thing in the AM, even under the tank shroud, those crimps are likely getting a workout.

no bend near the connector. I "upgraded" to stainless as well, but I'm not sure it's worth it. Protects from damage to the actual hose, but they don't seem actually to last any longer. I've never cut one open, but I guess that's the point. I think it's still rubber on the inside, just a braided cover for protection. nothing to do with life expectancy... I may be wrong, but just thinking out loud.
