Not bad ... in our older Endeavor, that much depth would limit the door swing and we would not be able to remove the crisper drawers (due to the reefer being opposite a shallow pantry and the access to the main breakers). However, our 10 cf reefer is more than adequate ... it's as big or bigger than the one in our first home. It's not like we need to freeze 3 turkeys and a whole hog . It turns out we now shop a little more frequently and buy more fresh food (a good thing).

BTW, our current 10cf residential replaced the original 7cf Dometic so we gained some space and got a BUNCH more cooling.

Heard! I think i was a bit lucky that it fit pretty well. the fridge was not as wide as the space for it by about 4 inches, so my RV guy made some wood panels to cover the opening on each side. Everything opens great, and I love the fact that it's cold and nothing is covered with water and condensation!!!! I strongly disliked our Norcold. I'm glad it died, I'm glad it's gone.

Yup ... I'm sure you'll continue to enjoy your "real" refrigerator The only thing I'm a little sorry about is the stainless finish on ours ... should have gotten black like yours. Hand/finger prints are a nuisance in spite of using stainless polish. Next time !!

Here's ours:

Here's ours:
Yeah, we chose the black for two reasons.

1) Every other appliance is black.
2) It cost far less.
3) Magnets will stick to it.
4) Stays clean.
5) I was in a HUGE rush as I had to leave town the following to day to be on schedule.

I guess that's 5 reasons

Here's ours:
FWIW we have the "fake stainless" Platinum finish on our RF197. Fingerprints don't show, magnets stick to it and it's $100 less than stainless.

Oh right on. In our stick and brick, we have stainless, we just darn most hate it.

A buddy told me once "Stainless Steel is for children with no hands"

I have a similar (no prints) finish on the Whirlpool at the S+B ... it's true, no prints. Unfortunately not available on the small reefer.

Have any of you tried Weiman's Stainless Steel Cleaner or Wipes to clean your stainless steel? A salesman at Sears swears this solves the finger print problem. We just bought the wipes and will be testing them soon.

I've been using a product called "Steel Meister" which definitely cleans and protects the finish but doesn't really stop fingerprints .. they just come off easier.

However, the mystery finish on our Whirlpool Gold (in the S+B) looks like stainless but if you put your hand on the door, when you take it away, there is no mark whatsoever.

Glad you got a unit to fit in. You MIGHT have an issue like us. In our case the right side, dutch door can not open enough to pull shelves out to reposition. That means I have to take the door off to change shelf location. Sure am glad we got it right the first time. LOL

Our Samsung is like that on the left door due to it being so close to the wall on that side. We got looking at the shelves and decided they were in pretty good locations so no harm. Can't blame the installer since we did it
