Exclamation Carrier AirV Air Conditioner Help

Hello all!

My first posting a desperate one. We purchased a 2007 McKenzie Starwood LX which has the Carrier Air V ac unit. We opened the trailer prepping fo the season last week to discover the AC unit wont start and has a green light that blinks twice which according to the manual is a Thermistor issue so I am desperately looking for this part number. 12-50084-00 which is a replacement Thermistor. Can anyone point me in a direction? Any help is greatly appreciated in advance!

I may be wrong, but it has been my understanding that Carrier provides no support for the RV A/C's it sold during that period. I had been told that the best approach was to throw it away and start over.

I had a carrier air unit as well, no new parts to be had. Carrier stopped making the rv units and parts. I had to go with a Coleman Mach 15000 btu unit, with a conversion kit that allowed me to keep my carrier remote for the heat and ac. I believe that you can still find some used parts on Ebay for these carrier units
