Carrier RV AC Fan Parts

I don't know who needs to hear this but someone will. and this post is so folks can find it via Google search or what ever.

We had a Carrier RV unit, whose main motor came loose and wrecked both fans.

That is the blower fan, and the condenser fan.

As we all know by now Carrier doesn't make these anymore, and there are no Carrier parts available. At least none that I have found, outside the occasional eBay post, but even those are few and far between.

It's documented here in other posts that the blower (Squirrel cage) Carrier Part: 38-50034-00SV Blower Wheel Assembly can be replaced with Dometic 3313107033 It's a tad smaller but works just fine.

What I struggled with was the condenser fan.

Carrier Part: 38-50024-00 Fan, Propeller

I searched high and low, and engaged all my HVAC buddies to try and find something suitable. Nearly all the fans of the right size (12") had a small 1/4 or 3/8 inch hole but because of the way they were made (plastic) couldn't be drilled larger.

I was just about to give up and start figuring out what units I'd replace both with. On a whim, I ordered the DOMETIC 3313107.0150000001 Fan Blade for Brisk Air Conditioner

It's just a tad smaller and is a tight fit with the cowling, but it 100% works. Fits the motor and I'm back in business.

Both are fairly cheap, around $25 each, and if you're the least bit handy, you can replace them and save yourself a TON of money.

I now carry one of each, so I can fix either of my two ACs should they suffer the same fate.

Key Words:
Carrier RV Fans
Carrier RV Blower Wheel
Carrier RV Condensor Fan
Carrier RV Fan, Propeller

You might try Colaw Salvage in Missouri for salvage parts.
