CCC2 10 & Atwood Furnace

I have a Dometic CCC2 10-button thermostat that controls 2 Dometic AC/Heatpump units and an Atwood AFM furnace. I recently removed both AC units (don’t need them) and now my thermostat won’t power up. All it needs to do is control the furnace. Does the thermostat need to be reconfigured somehow or do the leads to the AC units need to be connected?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TIA
Tom

Welcome to iRV2.

My vintage coach , the 12 volt power to the T'stat is routed through the front roof A/C , that unit's control board is the hub for all the furnace/roof A/C and t'stat 12 volt power.

Thanks for the help. After examining the wiring diagrams for my A/C and furnace I find that my setup is exactly like yours: the control board on my A/C unit is the hub for the 2 A/C units and the furnace.

So now the question is how to proceed. With the A/C unit gone, the control unit is gone and all I have are leads to the thermostat, the temperature sensor, the furnace thermostat and the 12v supply. I’m guessing there is no easy way to wire these together so this problem is above my capabilities.

Might it be easier to just install a separate thermostat to control just the furnace?

This is the solution you'll probably end up with .
Check your furnace installation manual , the furnace by itself doesn't require complicated controls .
