Wink Ceiling fan for Dutchstar?

How do you install a ceiling fan in the bedroom of a Dutchstar?

Since it's a 120V wire, my guess would be to have Newmar pre-wire for it (if they'll do it).

You can buy 12 volt ceiling fans on the internet. Very easy to install, just need to put a "back up" 2X4 in the ceiling to mount the fan to.
Runs off of 12 volts, not 120, so no need to hook up to the inverter.
After installing it, I can't imagine not having some air circulation on the warm evenings, when running the A/C is just too much

Welcome to iRV2 , and the Newmar family .

Can you tell us more about your Dutch Star ? Year ? Model number ?

That way we can figure if the bedroom fan was ever a factory option .

My 99 has a 120 volt fan , but I don't have a bedroom slide , so clearance to the slide flange wasn't an issue.
