Today I removed panel to access my pump area and check for pre-filter being dirty. It was not. I do not see any other regulator in the system. My pump has a 2008 date on it. And it’s rated at 2.3 gpm.
After looking on line a while, I see pumps like this one with 5.3 gpm. It uses technology to soft start and vary speed. Has anyone used it?

Is my pump the issue? If I’m on city water...does the GPM of pump make a difference? Is there a regulator somewhere else in the system I am not seeing?

I had two of those REMCO pumps (that exact model) start leaking within just a couple months of installation. The first was replaced under warranty and second failed the same way.
We don't run on city water, instead running entirely from our freshwater tank. Filling is through an adjustable regulator tuned to 55-60PSI.
My factory pump lasted many years before the REMCO pumps.
I moved to a much cheaper 5.5gpm SEAFLO 55 Series pump from Amazon back in January. It performs similarly to the REMCO pump and hasn't given me any issues so far.
