Coachmen sewer pipe swing out pipe...

So, I'm trying to get ready for our maiden voyage. I'm running into a problem getting the sewer pipes sorted. The prior owner had a bunch of pipes and hose clamps and connectors but I can't seem to get them to fit inside the black pvc sewer stowage pipe that hangs out the bottom of the sewer room.

The sewer valve comes out of the coach at an angle towards a hole in the floor of the sewer room. From there, there is a plastic flange with what looks like I guess a 5-in sewer pipe that comes down off the bottom of the flange that it's my understanding is for stowing the sewer pipe. It has a standard sewer pipe plug on the end of it. You swing it out, undo the plug and pull the sewer line out.

My problem is that none of the sewer pipe connectors will fit up inside that black pvc pipe. So, if I can't have a connector attached to the end of the pipe, then it's just the end of the sewer pipe hanging inside the big PVC pipe. That means I have to stick-build the sewer line with couplers and hose clamps every time we set up.

The problem is that the little things that stick off of the camco sewer connectors are too wide for the black pipe. The cap will not go on.

It seems like my only choice is to either stick build the sewer pipe with clamps and couplers or just remove the stowage pipe altogether and run the sewer pipe up through the hole in the floor of the sewer room.

Any suggestions?

Probably not the idea you're looking for but I use a cargo box that's supported by the hitch in back. I was tired of dedicating good storage compartment space for my sewer hose stuff, and I don't have a strong back any more so bending is difficult. This solution works great for me (but wouldn't if you tow anything-obviously). My stowage box is big enough to use for other things too.

We keep one hose that will fit in the sewer carrier and the other sewer items ate in a storage tote.

I use a basic hose in mine about 6 ft long. The end piece I use is a joiner piece with 3 nobs that my extension hose twists onto. The joiner piece fits easily into the pipe and does not hamper the screw in end cap. It's available at Walmart etc $3.99 when I bought mine. Pulls out far enough for the dump stations and I join my extension hose on for campsite hook-ups. I like it, it's a slick clean coachmen idea for a potentially messy job.

Yes! I have discovered that what I actually need is called a 2ft compartment hose, and has the slightly smaller connector, which does indeed fit inside the storage pipe (the bayonet connector is just a tad bit too large). Unfortunately Amazon seems out of stock and the other vendors cant get one here in time. Compartment hose, whooda thunk it?!?

Thank you!

Looks to me like...,
1. The brown hose assembly in the swing-out pipe is not designed to be removed when stopped; appears to have an open pipe coupler fitting attached; and...
2. there’s at least one of your hose lengths (the red one on the ground; possibly the black on the ground) that has a raw end with no fitting attached. It seems that you can attach any of your remaining raw end hoses to that red fitting simply by threading it on (and clamping). After attachment, you can then attach the outbound hose appropriately setup for whatever configuration you use.
