Coleman/Airexcel AC

Coleman/Airexcel evaporator motor bracket is completely rusted out on the forward AC unit. Rear bracket has lots of rust but is able to be cleaned up and painted. Apparently, you cannot buy just the motor mount bracket, you have to purchase the whole motor and bracket assembly. The rest of the AC unit is in good shape. The bracket must be made of very mild steel and not protected from the environment. I would suggest that you remove the top cover of the AC unit, clean up the bracket and paint with a suitable paint.
Happy Trails!

Mine rusted there so badly that it vibrated the Freon lines to where we had leaks, which made the repair not worth it.

If you need to just replace the bracket, remove the good one and take it to a welding shop and have one made, and maybe a backup. Chuck
