I thought these AC units were hard to find. Did he have it readily available?

They ordered it...took one week to get in. It was a brand new unit still in the shipping box when the tech arrived to install.

It seems a bit less noisy than the one it replaced (although none of ours are really noisy...they are all ducted which helps immensely with noise). Getting 18°F drop, which is good for these little units.
