Connecting Cummins/Onan EC-30 AGS

Hey folks,
"A man ought to know his limits...". OK, that said, I am there and have hired a certified RV electrician to finish out my solar/Lithium install. An item I would like to include is a Cummins/Onan EC-30 AGS. I want it to trigger on either volts/amperage, or interior temps.
The idea (and maybe I am wrong on this) is to ensure the AGS kicks in if/when the pedestal power fails and the battery drops and the interior temps get too high for the pup when we are not there.
Well, my guy is uncertain about the correct triggers for the EC-30 WRT the thermostat feed.
Any insights that I can suggest? Hook ups? How to...?

Did you already purchase it? I was looking at the EC-AGS30+ after recently installing EC-30 and it looks like a much easier install. It does not work on all the generators the EC-30 does but the majority of the ones for RV's.

Yep already purchased

Actually bought it last year. Should have done some homework, I think, as you found, there are simpler systems.

What does it say in the EC-30 manual of yours for trigger voltages for starting a low battery?

Mine shows a “Start @Volts” of 10.5v - 12.5v. I think you will find that this is not compatible or practical for a start at volts for lithium batteries.

AGS and lithium batteries

Similar. I'm thinking I will really only ever need the a/c trigger. Saw some posts from earlier (2016/2017) talking about using a different BIM to compensate for LI batteries. Would hope by this date that Cummins updated the firm ware for the EC-30 to adjust for growing prevelance of LI arrays. I guess we will see once all of the connections are made and we put the system under trial.
Trying to think through different scenarios, but my only real concern is the pet alone. And those times would be pretty rare, and only if we are going into a town/city, which means parked on shore power at an RV park. So the batteries shouldn't be an issue so much as a loss of SP needed to keep the a/c running. And we would likely think through taking our pup with us or not.
