Question Converted my NoCold with JC Ref.

Well, like the title says , i converted my 1200LRIM Norcold to a JC Ref. 120 volt compressor system. She ran very very solid the first 2 times i used it temperature stayed solid. On out trip out to glamis this passed weekend the compressor would not kick on and it kicked the "NOCO" code on the screen . So i called JC Ref. and they told me to wire it direct with a pigtail so we did but had to watch the temps manually.

So we got through the weekend and just wanted to see if anyone else had this issue. I also installed a brand new board when i installed this system to avoid any headaches and also a new thermistor......and well here we are. I don't believe the circuit board came with the controller on the fridge. So I'm not sure if that could be a problem. Just wanted to see if anyone has had this issue and a possible fix.

THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP

Sorry I don't have a solution, but I do have a curious question.
Did they/you talk about how much room you need between the fridge and the outside vent grill/wall.
My Southwind is pretty tight but would love to convert.

'No Co' error code ------Cooling Unit Monitoring Control

When fridge is turned on the Control monitors FIN temp every 10 minutes for 2 hours
No decrease in FIN temp Control shuts down cooling process for 10 minutes
Restarts cooling process...monitors FIN temp every 10 minutes for 40 minutes
No cooling detected.....shuts down/locks out---throw code
*1st 'No Co'---reset by turning fridge OFF then Back ON
*2nd 'No Co'----have to do a 'Hard Reset' on circuit board

Circuit Boards for 1200 Series
3 different boards were used based on fridge Serial Number
What is your fridges S/N and the part number on circuit board

What exactly did you jumper/bypass....use pigtail on????

Sounds like you need to call J R back and do some troubleshooting with him. Jumping something is only good for a work around until you get where you’re going and can make proper repairs.

Yeah, that is a temporary fix so you don't loose the food that is in the fridge at the time.
