I replaced the cursed Xantrex with an AIMS in the same space and that inverter does warm the space pretty good with the dual fans. The floor and sides of the space are plastic, so cutting a vent would be easy. Just curious what ya'all have used for 12v cooling fans - or would just a dumb vent be enough ?

I use this fan. It comes in different sizes. Very well engineered and comes with an assortment of ways to mount it. Nearly silent and uses almost no power.

My compartment gets hot too when the invertor is running. Since my invertor has an outlet on it, just going to use a 120v fan plugged in to it for venting. That way when the invertor is on, the fan is on.

I have a spare outlet too, but going with the little12v fan for economy. I have to cut a hole in the compartment, just trying to figure out a good spot that will not potentially introduce road debris. I think I will face the fan out to exhaust, I dunno.
