Dash Air Conditioning

I'm new to a diesel pusher, purchased a 2007 Phaeton. I have a question, when I'm running dash air conditioning and the fan under the chassis (behind front generator,I guess it would be the condenser fan) starts, it is very loud. It's not quite a squeal but definitely a whine and can be heard very clearly inside the coach! Are these fans noisy or do I have a bearing in the fan going?? The unit is a 2007 with 22,000mi. Thanks if anybody has any input.

Should'nt be noisy at all..

If you stick a pencil and turn fan should turn freely.
If it doesn't you need a replacement. Water will rust out housing for fan motor.
Any auto store should have them.
