Day/Night Shade Repair in DFW?

Anyone know where I can get someone to come fix my day/night shades? The shade over the sofa, the strings are no longer cohesive and the shade can't be fixed, it will have to be re-strung.

I cannot remove the boxes and MCD knows how to do it in a heartbeat...

OR, I'll have to run up to McKinney (ha, that's funny, first, order shades, then pay for shades, then call and get an appointment to have them installed. I talked to MCD and she said they can put two manual single shades in in about an hour) and get the MCD Night shade installed. If I do that I should replace the one opposite from the sofa too...

You might try a mobile RV service . I know around me the one I use will fretting them for a price . But fair warning if that is the only thing you are needing done it will be spendy. If you Google it there is a video on you tube showing how to do it .

If the shade top is covered by a valence, you might have to remove that. I had a shade broken, took it to a shop and they wouldn't touch an "RV" shade. I purchased cord, came home, and with the help of various web resources, I did my first one in about 20 min. The next time, I had to fix one, it took 10 minutes.

If you walk about most campgrounds you will eventually come accross someone with a sign in their front window indicating that they restring shades. Many charge $20 to $30 for each shade they restring. Note that many just need to adjust the tension on the spools when their shades don't stay up and really do not need them restrung at all
