Dead Onan Marquis Gold

Sheesh, what's with My luck these days.
If it's not wayward Alligators, it's something else.
I just got done shelling out $500.00 for repairs due to the "Alligator" incident, now The gen dies.
Anyone Got a line on a cheaper source for these Onan Control boards?
Best Price I found so far is $314.00 Plus shipping.
The more I keep spending to fix this damn thing, the less I have to go use it.
Worst part is, this board is not repairable, it's covered in resin in a plastic "dish" Kind of like a large brownie, but not as tasty.
I have to wonder what I did to anger the gods.

Kerry

Be careful, feeling like you're having bad luck. Try $14,000 for a new engine after 28,000 miles.

Some good luck for a change.
I think I figured out what happened to the onan.
did a little brainstorming, and pow, it hit me, I just had the exhaust system done.
Welding, on a vehicle, without disconnecting the battery. Ya.
I called the Muffler shop, and guess what, they are buying me a new control board.
Finally someone steps up to the plate. Great shop to admit fault, and take care of it.
great little windfall, but now I have to part with it to get the board.
...and now the cake is gone.
