I have seen a Exide Select Orbital Deep Cycle battery rated as 50amp H @ 20 Hour Rate - does this mean:
A deep cell battery should be used to 50% or with above battery you get.
Use Life = 50 amp H @ 10 Hour Rate or
Use above battery for 4 hours a day for 2.5 days then recharge battery.
Thanks in advance. Anyone have a suggestion for a deep cell battery I can use for 4 hours a day for 2 days with an inverter and a 120 watt 120 volt load.

The reason is you do not want to drain your batteries past about one-third their capacity (Amphours). This is suggested to keep the batteries 'healthy'.
Once in a while you might drain them by one-half but I would not let that happen often (once a month).
While I am on the topic: another thing that will keep your lead acid batteries healthy is a "DeSulfator". This is a little black box that you connect to the positive and negative terminals of your battery system (where, in the system does not matter). This black box produces a radio frequency signal that travels into your batteries and attacks the lead sulfate building up on the plates. The signal is tuned to the same frequency that the lead sulfate molecule vibrates at. So when the signal hits the molecules built up on your the battery plates it tends to loosen them.
I have used the DeSulfater for years and my batteries last years longer now.
