If you are unfortunate enough to have a failed control circuit board The Dometic 1350 will make a nifty book storage area. Just think how good your books will feel living in a $7000.00 "cabinet".
And "someday" if a new control board is finally made at the "new" factory in Mexico maybe you can make room for things like milk and butter.
Outsourcing is great and Optimism is my most outstanding trait. (I feel better now)

Being an optimistic sort, I'd store that refer somewhere while waiting for a better solution. Some after market entrepreneur will come up with a reasonable cost replacement board, or the guts of the system will become repairable or something like that. In other words, wait it out.

Meanwhile, I'd find a lower cost home type refer to fit into that hole. Samsung makes a line of RV usable refers. In fact, a Home Depot I was in here in Tucson recently had some low cost mini models that might work.

This would be akin to buying a clunker while waiting for the cost of a new engine for your car to come down because a neighbor kid poured sugar in your fuel tank.

No aftermarket Circuit Board has been produced even by Dinosaur Electronics while RM1350 was in production or since

Dometic RM1350 was Dometic's response to Norcold 1200
Both problematic
Norcold 1200 was Cheaper so OEMs used more Norcold 1200's then Dometic RM1350s
