I would think that could work. I'm sure, given enough time, a person can work around it or come up with a solution. For me, just put a towel under it for the time you're using it. Big deal. It has a lino floor.

What's frustrating is that I charted all of this out, ahead of time, in writing, and yet, now she's looking at buying a new AC unit - even though it's going to do the exact same thing.

I saved her $500 by doing the thermostat and control board install myself (that is what the AC guy wanted for labor for that), only to see her piss it all away and to watch the AC guy follow in my steps. Problem is, AC guy hasn't figured out yet that it's the design, but is now going to sell her an AC unit. Don't worry, he'll finally figure it out, just after installing the new unit.

It's a weird thing to watch in real-time!
