Dometic DM2862RBX Frigde switching to gas

My Dometic DM2862RBX refrigerator (built in 2014), has started doing something odd, it keeps switching out of Auto mode, and going into gas only mode. It has done this 3 or 4 times in the last week, while in its storage shed plugged into AC power.

Does anyone have any idea why this might happen?

Switch 'out of Auto' or switching to Gas cause AC has been lost?

When it swaps does the Auto Light go out?
When it swaps does the GAS Light come on?

Need to check:
If AC Power was lost at storage shed
Check AC Heater if getting power from Circuit Board
*5A Fuse is for the AC Circuit/Element
*Element is a 325W 120VAC ----ohms S/B 44 +/- and draw 2.7A when ON
*Element Leads plug into J7 & J8 on circuit board...black leads
(DC operated Relay allows AC to element when thermostat calls for heat)

Test the Upper/lower circuit board & harness---Pg 13
Test lower circuit board -----Pg 15

DM2862 is Same as the RM2862
*Dometic changed production locations and started using the DM in model numbers.....no design changes/just production indicators
Parts Lists for RM2862---same parts for DM2862

Occam would say the AC power is dropping out, so I’d probably check the quality of the mechanical connection at the plug, and then plug something like a light into the outlet so you can see the status of the power.

We are in Louisiana, and experienced multiple power outages over the last week or so, the coach is stored in a shed at the family cattle ranch where short, and sometimes not so short power outages are common (a couple of dozen times per year on average). This behavior is new, note it is not just switching to gas while in auto mode when there is a power failure, as one might expect, but it is staying in gas mode when the AC power comes back on, and the "auto" light is going off. Manually pressing the auto mode button will cause it to switch back to AC power mode where it may stay for a day or so.

I will check the things on the checklist above though

p.s. just to clarify, I will leave it set in auto, running on AC, then check back in a couple of days and find the auto light turned off and it running in gas mode. I will then press the auto button and it will switch to running on AC, and may stay that way for a day or two, before switching to gas and having the auto light go out again. It is almost as if someone is sneaking in during the night and pressing the auto button and manually switching it to gas operation.
