The Dometic refer mod 2652 fails above 50mph It is in a Bigfoot 1500 9.5 slide in. Inside temps are nominal, 39f and 0f. It used to only fail at 70mph+ but has degraded recently. Should I do a thorough cleaning of chimney and orfice or look elsewhere. At low speeds every thing is ok so I have concluded it is simply a blo-out of the burner but why?
Thanx.......Logman

Could be partially obstructed orifice, spiders really like LPG odor; gas regulator malfunction; a small obstruction in the air flow such as a mud dabber nest. Those kind of things are really annoying to me. Read the other post and replies to the same subject, also made today.

I had aa similar problem with mine. I just duct taped the vents on the access door starting at the top and leaving the baffeled one alone. Has worked perfectly for 4yrs.
Another draft-stopper was to attach the media from a fiberglass home furnace filter to the backside of the access door. This still permits good airflow but cuts down on drafts and turbulence.
Thank Rusty: Going boondocking this morn. on Hennes Pass Rd, an old wagon road accross the sierra crest here in N Ca. Doubt if I'll get much above 30 mph. I like your idea of using filter media. I'll try that when I get back. I did clean the orfice and chimney but they were spotless. Thanx again......Berg Frei
