Dometic Fridge Initial Ignition Problem

Model 2454 (Product #921 14 01-14, 438 00099) in 2005 Casita

Background - We are traveling in Montana on an extended trip. The fridge had been working fine on gas continuously for two months. One night, the fridge shut off in the early AM (check light) and would not restart cycling the on/off switch. Trying again in late morning, it started fine and ran to the early morning. This initially coincided with a relocation to 6500 feet and nightly lows in the 40's. A return to 3000ft initially alleviated the problem but now it occurs at lower elevation. I have cleaned the burner tube and orifice. I have good battery voltage and good flame, once lit.

I watched the ignition cycle several times this morning. When turned on there was a brief delay, gas started flowing but no spark. I could light the burner with an electronic sparker and get a good flame. Once lit, I could blow out the flame and it would spark and relight dependably.

An hour later, I shut the fridge down, waited 10 minutes and the fridge started by just turning it on. It took five or six spark clicks before ignition. The ambient temperature at the lower outside door was about 80 degrees at this point.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

First thing.....grounds
Make sure circuit board has good ground contact
*might even run separate ground wire

Replace the spark electrode. Could be a crack in the ceramic insulator/loose wire inside it

If that doesn't resolve it then you are looking at replacing the circuit board
