Dometic Fridge issue / 2017 toy hauler

I have the original Dometic fridge that came with my 2017 Livin Lite aluminum 24' toy hauler. Yesterday I turned everything off to put it back in storage ( Not plugged into shore power, no generator running, Arizona, 105 degree heat) and there was a fan sound coming from the back of the fridge after I shut it off. I waited about 20 minutes for it to go off and finally disconnected the batteries as I will not be returning to the rv for a few weeks. any ideas what this fan sounds coming from and why it doesn't shut down? Thank you

Sounds like an exterior cooling fan that gets 12VDC directly from the DC terminal block for fridge
Fan DC power goes thru a 1A in-line fuse to the thermostat control attached to condenser fin then from t-stat power goes to fan

T-stat closes when condenser fin temp reaches 130*F turning fan on and then opens when condenser fin temp drops below 115*F

With fridge just being secured and ambient air temps at 115*F fan probably would have continued to run for many hours
W/O battery charging your battery would have been drained dead

You can install an On/Off switch in that power line...just have to remember to turn it ON when your turn fridge ON

Fan On on after fridge is shut down...no harm/no foul as fan is need when fridge is ON and coolant circulating NOT when off and in storage
